3 nights to get your weave on!
All things baskets; spend 3 evenings at Trillium North Park with Sharon Kallis and Amy Walker weaving under the cherry trees and in our outdoor studio space.
We have a wide variety of materials gathered from Trillium Park and Means of Production Garden over the last few months and look forward to exploring various methods of construction using barks, grasses, leaves and reeds. If you are brand new to basket weaving, you must attend the Monday night lesson to get core basics( use bookings link below).
This is drop in, no registration is required if you have some basic skill or history in weaving (some refresher assistance will be available) -come once, or come every night as you can!
This is a great chance to spend some concentrated time of weaving, starting a project the first night, and finishing on Friday!
Monday, Thursday and Friday Aug 22, 25, 26, 6-8pm
Bring your own picnic-chairs, tools and materials are provided. Dress for the weather, rain or shade structures will be in place as required. Thank you to our partners at Vancouver Park Board for support to make these sessions possible.
