Join us at Trillium park for tending our garden beds!
Tasks on our list include transplanting baby yarrow, lupin and nettles that pop up in places they will be trampled, woodchipping pathways, weaving fences, and spring weeding. Joining the garden early in the season is the best way to become familiar with the plantings, and meet other gardeners of this site. No experience necessary, each task has lots of opportunity for learning and gardeners at all levels of experience are welcome.
Trillium is fairly flat and easier to navigate then the MOP garden with washrooms located on site. Please wear closed toe shoes, bring your own gloves, water bottle and snack and dress for the weather! Tea provided. We garden in all weather, but registered folks will receive an email before the event if forecast looks too dire to go ahead as planned.
