Spend a Sunday afternoon helping prepare wool for EartHands Artists’ in Residence T’uy’t’tanat (Cease Wyss) and Jolene Andrew in time for their winter weaving.
Some spinning experience is appreciated but not necessary, there are other tasks to do too such as carding wool, prepping dye materials from the gardens and tending dye pots. Some spinning instruction will be available as a refresh, but please note this is not intended as a spinning class. Bring your wheel or spindle, or borrow one of our spindles. We will be spinning in a low-twist, chunky weight suitable for Coast Salish weaving.
