Immerse yourself in the old ways of making oil tanned fish skin leather and learn about some of the ancient history of this almost forgotten skill. This natural textile is strong and translucent, with the oil tanning method preserving the natural colour of the fish skin. Fish leather was traditionally sewn into coats, footwear and clothing as summer wear. You will take home 1-4 pieces that can be made into jewelry, clothing, wallets, bags, or other creations, and leave with an understanding and appreciation for this ancestral skill.
