Join us on a Sunday morning for a walk in the park- bring your drop spindle and fibre, or rope making materials- and lets walk the paths slowly while making and observing.
Seeds and fibre on site can be gathered and incorporated into your work! Not a spinner and not sure how to make rope? Before we start moving through the gardens, Sharon will be give a quick tutorial on rope making and point out simple ways to identify plants to gather as we move.
Accessibility Note: The Trillium site is a flatter, more navigable garden. MOP is situated on a steep hillside with uneven surfaces and terraces through much of the garden. We will walk, find places to sit and rest, and everyone can move at their own pace. Please wear closed toe shoes, bring a sun hat and water bottle. Personal belongings can be locked up in garden shed at both sites at the start of the walk.
