A 2 hour work along with Sharon cutting up thin jersey knit and redesigning new tops. A great way to reuse favourite shirts that have worn out- use up botanical print sample strips and upcycle stretch garments.
Sharon will show 2 different style shirts and break down the pattern elements and then problem solve with each participant their own project while participants do their cutting and stitching.
This class is free – Sharon is waiving payment and is happy to see those that are able make donations to EartHand Gleaners towards lost earned revenue. Donations can be made here
participants need:
a camera on device to participate, a zoom link will be sent out a few hours before the session- limited to 5 participants for group enjoyment.
sharp scissors, pins, tape measure, needle and thread, plates or french curves for angles are useful but nec.- a small cutting board or pressing ham for stretching while hand sewing encouraged.
old shirts can be cut open pre-class or worked on thru session
