Lets travel through some of our favourite books related to making together. Weaving, spinning, knitting, woodworking and beyond- how-to’ practical books to conceptual or the philosophy of making.
What books are in your home that inspire you? Maybe they relate to dreams for future projects, maybe they are aspirational goals or just comfy old favourites on your book shelf. This an a chance to dust off those books and revisit them and share with others.
The loose format -we each have 2 books we select, a first and second choice. We do a round table intro of what our first book is and maybe hold up a few inspiring pages, give an overview of the ideas presented. After we have circled once and had a chance for questions and answers we do a rapid fire second book intro as time allows.
We can keep a list of the books and have that as a collective resource list of our inspiration.
Max of 8 participants, hosted by Sharon Kallis, if you register for both sessions please have different books to share.
