April 4 Sat 11am-3pm

This full-on work and learning  session will focus on weaving a hazel and red osier ‘wattle wall’ at the Means of Production garden. As we re-imagine and re-define the challenging-to-maneuver  sloped area between the hazel trees and willow crop, this low running woven wall will hold a soil edge – and with good planning and luck- the red osier will root in places  to assist in stabilizing this area.

Completion of terra-forming the land with soil and plant additions to this area will continue with the Living Soils with Jo Tobias  paid program on April 25.
