Calling all spinners!
Join us for Worldwide Spin in Public Day at the Surrey Museum open house.
Bring your wheel or drop spindle and something yummy from your fibre-stash and join us in taking over the lawn or old school house.
A great opportunity to see the textile demonstration garden at the end of the season and also visit the Weaving Cultural Identities exhibition before it closes and meet with other fibre folk.
Circle Hosts include Leah Munier ( Katzie) thigh rolling məθəɬ (dogbane), and Sharon Kallis and Melanie Camman spinning local flax stricks to linen.
Dress for the weather, sunhats and light covering encouraged- there will be limited pop up tent shaded space.
Rainy weather will place us inside in the old school house.
